April 7th Community Meeting at Goff Junior High School Canceled

New meeting for residents in the area will be scheduled

The Mayor’s Community Meeting to be held at Lyman B. Goff Junior High School on April 7th at 6:00 p.m., has been cancelled as it conflicts with the Pawtucket Red Sox Opening Day festivities at McCoy Stadium. Game time is 7:05 p.m.

The meeting will be rescheduled to a future date to be determined. Please check the City’s website, Facebook and Twitter pages, along with local newspapers, for an update on the rescheduled meeting.

“I want to apologize for any inconvenience to those who planned on attending,” said Mayor Grebien. “We are in the process of rescheduling this meeting for residents in the area and I look forward to meeting once a new date has been set,” he said. “I want to encourage everyone to join me at McCoy as the PawSox kick off the 2016 season!”

Community meetings between the residents of Pawtucket, Mayor Grebien and other officials from City Hall, take place in each of the city’s districts where citizens will be able to promote direct engagement between city officials and the residents they serve. The next scheduled meeting will take place Thursday, April 14th, at Curtis Elementary School, located at 582 Benefit Street in Pawtucket. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm.

Further information can be obtained by contacting the Mayor’s Office at 401-728-0500 Ext. 281.
