2022-2023 Annual Action Plan Needs Meeting

_______________________________________________________________

The City of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, would like to invite you to help the City develop our 2022-2023 Annual Action Plan.  The Annual Action Plan is a one-year plan that explains and discusses available federal block grant funding (Community Development Block Grant, Emergency Solutions Grant and HOME Program funding) that the City receives as an entitlement community. The PY22 Annual Action Plan addresses how the funding will be used to fulfill Consolidated Plan priorities. (The City’s current Consolidated Plan is a five-year document identifying community needs and spending priorities for FY2020-FY2024.)   Pawtucket_CP_DPR_1.pdf (pawtucketri.com)

Each year, as part of the process of utilizing and administering US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds, the City of Pawtucket compiles a Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report or CAPER.  The report describes how the City of Pawtucket used these resources over the previous fiscal year, what progress or accomplishments were achieved through these expenditures, and how these accomplishments fit within the larger context of the City’s Five Year Consolidated Plan goals and objectives. This report also lists the funds expended under the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES)—CDBG-CV and ESG-CV. CAPER LINK  http://www.pawtucketri.com/sites/default/files/uploads/caper%20EXECUTIVE%20SUMMARY%202020-2021%20web.pdf

Join us in person or via Zoom to hear about these programs and share your ideas about these limited federal funds and how they could be used to serve the needs of Pawtucket residents, particularly those of low and moderate incomes, over the coming program year (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023).   Anyone who intends on applying for funding is strongly encouraged to attend and participate in the forum:
