Covid-19 Emergency Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program Eviction Prevention, Rental Assistance/Security Deposit, Back Utility Bills

 

Applicants MUST:

1)Be a Pawtucket resident renting an apartment in the City of Pawtucket – proof of residency will be required;

2)NOT receiving any other form of housing assistance by any other housing program;

3)Have financial hardship due to COVID-19 - must have lost employment or income either permanently or temporarily due to the COVID-19 – proof of decrease in income must be provided (March 13, 2020 – present)

4)Have income at or below 60% of the area median income for the HOME Program, adjusted by household size, as determined and verified by the Pawtucket Housing Authority. The following are the qualifying income limits:

Due to COVID-19 health risks, the Application Packet will be available for download online at www.pawthousing.org.   If you do not have a printer, please contact Rosa Feliz Pichardo or Mary Michalczyk at the e-mail addresses or phone numbers indicated below.

The Application Packet will be available on August 14, 2020. Applications will be accepted no later than 4:00 PM on October 15, 2020 on a first come, first serve basis. Applications need to be downloaded, filled out, signed, and all required documents must be enclosed with the application. Instructions on how to return the application are outlined in the Application Packet.

Programa De Asistencia De Alquiler De Emergencia Covid-19 Para Inquilinos, Prevención De Desalojo, Asistencia De Alquiler / Depósito De Seguridad, Facturas De Servicios Públicos Atrasadas

 

Los solicitantes DEBEN:

1)Ser residente de Pawtucket y alquilar un apartamento en la ciudad de Pawtucket; se requerirá prueba de residencia;

2)NO recibir ninguna otra forma de asistencia para la vivienda de un programa de vivienda;

3)Tener dificultades económicas debido al COVID-19 - debe haber perdido el empleo o los ingresos, ya sea de forma permanente o temporal debido al COVID-19 - debe proporcionar prueba de disminución de ingresos (13 de marzo de 2020 – al presente)

4)Tener ingresos iguales o menores que el 60% del ingreso medio del área para el Programa HOME, ajustado por el tamaño del hogar, según determinado y verificado por la Autoridad de Viviendas de Pawtucket. Los siguientes son los límites de ingresos que califican:

Debido a los riesgos a la salud por causa del COVID-19, el paquete de solicitud estará disponible para descargar en línea en www.pawthousing.org. Si no tiene una impresora, comuníquese con Rosa Feliz Pichardo o Mary Michalczyk a las direcciones de correo electrónico o números de teléfono que se indican a continuación.

 

El paquete de solicitud estará disponible el 14 de agosto del 2020. Las solicitudes se aceptarán hasta el 15 de octubre del 2020 a las 4:00 p.m. y seran procesadas por orden de llegada. Las solicitudes deben descargarse, completarse y firmarse. Todos los documentos requeridos deben adjuntarse a la solicitud. Las instrucciones sobre cómo devolver la solicitud se describen en el paquete de solicitud.
