Q. When is there a Parking ban put into place?
A. Emergency situations such as Hurricanes & Fires
A. On Recycling & Sweeping Program days, every other week - View Schedule

Q. When will the Christmas trees be picked up?
A. They are to be put out on your trash day on Jan. 2nd thru Jan. 31st.

Q. If I have a complaint regarding a sidewalk tree whom do I contact? 
A. Highway department at ex. 284 or 302

Q. If I want to report a pothole, utility cut or a street light out who would I contact?
A. Report name of street and pole number to the Highway department at ex. 284 or 302

Q. If I wanted information on Bridges – repairs, closing or to report a problem whom would I contact?
A. Highway department at ex. 284 or 302

Q. In the winter months what are the hours of operation?
A. During snow storm/ 24-hour coverage from Dec. to April

Q. What are the hours of the Blackstone Valley Transfer Station? 
A. Transfer hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30 to 3:30 – Saturday’s 8:00 am to 11:30 am – if any information needed call 728-0500 ex 499

Q. What are the hours of the Cemeteries? 
Cemeteries owned by the City of Pawtucket (Oak Grove and Mineral Spring ave ) 7:30 am to 4:00 pm – any information needed call 728-0500 ex. 284 or 302

Q. When does Highway department start the Larva side Program?
A. The program starts from June to September.

Q. When does the Weed spraying start?
A. The program starts from June to August

Q. If I am interested in the 50/50 sidewalk program whom would I contact?
Engineering Division at ex. 279

Q. Are there any after hours coverage?
A. Nights coverage is Monday through Thursday 4:00 pm to 2:00 am & Week end coverage is Friday, Saturday and Sunday ( Friday 4:00 pm to 12:00 am – Saturday & Sunday are 8:00 am to 12:00 am ) call 728-0500 x284
