Leon Mathieu Senior Center Announces Weekly Schedule 2023

PAWTUCKET - The City of Pawtucket, Division of Senior Services at the Leon Mathieu Senior Center announces their weekly schedule of programs. The programs are held at the Center’s location, 420 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI. Adults 55 and above are invited.  Membership is $7 a year for Pawtucket residents and $10 a year for non-residents.  Call the Senior Center at 401-728-7582 to register. 

A variety of programs are available from exercise and health related classes to cultural activities. 

On Mondays 

  • Knitting Class 9:30-11AM
  • Senior Cardio 9:30-10:30AM
  • Chair Yoga 10:30AM-11:30 AM
  • Lunch at the Blackstone Café ($3 suggested donation) 11:30AM-12Noon
  • Hi-Lo Jack Club 12:30-2:45PM
  • Watercolor Painting 1:00-2:00PM

On Tuesdays:   

  • Yoga by Shri ($10 per month) 9:30-10:30AM
  • Therapeutic Coloring  10:00-11:00 AM
  • Line Dancing 10:30 AM-11:30 AM
  • Lunch at the Blackstone Café ($3 suggested donation), 11:30AM-12Noon
  • Non-Impact Aerobics, 12:30-1:30 p.m.

On Wednesdays 

  • Stretch Exercise Class, 10-11AM
  • Lunch at the Blackstone Café ($3 suggested donation), 11:30AM-12Noon
  • Tai Chi Class ($10/month), 11:30AM-12:30PM
  • Arthritis Exercise Class, 12:30-1:30PM

On Thursdays:

  • Salsacise 9:30-10:30AM
  • Board Games 9:30 AM-10:30 AM
  • Lunch at the Blackstone Café ($3 suggested donation), 11:30AM-12Noon
  • Penny Bingo, 12:15-2PM
  • Chair Yoga  12:15 p.m.-1:15 PM  

On Fridays:

  • Cribbage 9:30 AM-11:00 AM
  • Stretch Exercise Class, 10-11AM
  • Lunch at the Blackstone Café ($3 suggested donation), 11:30AM-12Noon
  • Coffee Hour/Special Presentation 12:30 PM-2:00 PM
