Mayor Grebien Hosts Annual Mayor’s Holiday Dinner for Seniors

The Annual Mayor’s Holiday Dinner is an ongoing tradition in the City of Pawtucket. All senior residents of the city were welcome to attend.

“Every year, we bring our senior community together to provide them a nice, hearty meal before the holidays” said Mayor Grebien. “It is important that we look after our seniors, especially during this time of year, and also help them get into the holiday spirit!”

Elected officials at the state and local level, as well as staff from the City of Pawtucket, Pawtucket Public Safety, and the Leon Mathieu Senior Center are invited and asked to serve meals. This year's Mayor’s Holiday Dinner dignitaries included:

  • Governor Dan McKee
  • Staff from Senator Sheldon Whitehouse’s Office
  • State Senator Sandra Cano
  • State Senator-Elect Robert Britto
  • State Representative Karen Alzate
  • State Representative Mary Duffy Messier
  • Councilor Michael Araujo
  • Councilor Marlena Martins Stachowiak
