PAWTUCKET AND CENTRAL FALLS TO HOST NATIONAL PREPARE-A-THON EVENT

September is National Preparedness Month and the Pawtucket/Central Falls (PCF) Emergency Management Agency (EMA), in partnership with the Federal Emergency Mangement Agency’s (FEMA) America’s PrepareAthon Campaign, is promoting the CodeRED emergency notification system.

CodeRED is a FREE emergency notification service provided to all residents within Rhode Island that will notify you of emergency information through phone calls, text messages, emails, social media and the CodeRED Mobile Alert app. The system will be used to keep you informed of local events that may immediately impact your safety. As a local resident, PCF Emergency Management encourages you to take action and register for this free service, if you haven’t already.

PCF Emergency Management will be conducting a CodeRED all system notification on Wednesday September 28th at 6:30pm.

While everyone knows it’s important to prepare for emergencies, this simple, easy action brings the basic preparedness information and guidelines right to your fingertips. So join us on September 28th and register for CodeRED.

ENROLL TODAY!  Visit www.pawtucketri.com and click the CodeRED icon located in the residents section or visit CodeRED directly at www.ecnetwork.com.

For more information please contact Pawtucket/Central Falls EMA at 401-729-5846.
