Pawtucket Planning & Commerce Hosts Premiere of “This is Pawtucket” Video

PAWTUCKET – On Thursday, January 5th, the City of Pawtucket’s Planning Department hosted the official premiere of the “This is Pawtucket” promotional video.

The video includes aerial shots of Pawtucket’s mill buildings, factory’s and other historic sites, as well as images of the Tidewater Landing and Pawtucket-Central Falls Commuter Rail Projects. Viewers also get a glimpse inside some local businesses such as The Guild, Jordan’s Jungle, and Bake my Day.

“Something I have been emphasizing a lot recently is how excited I am for what is coming in the near future for our City” said Mayor Grebien. “But what I don’t acknowledge enough is how proud I am of what we have already built – and you can see just that in this wonderful video.”

The premiere was part of an ongoing “Pawtucket Promotes” series hosted by the city’s Planning & Commerce Department – particularly Senior Planner, Anthony Hebert, and Commerce Director Sandra Cano. The event took place at TEN31 Productions, a local performance venue, and featured food from local establishments, DG Cafe and Still on Main, as well as representatives from the Rhode Island Football Club.
